There is a lot to do in Tuscany, so there are times in which you may not be able to get to everything. How long you stay depends on how much you can do. But no matter how long you’re staying, you have to ensure that you do one of the following things:
• Make sure you visit Siena – This is the greatest medieval town in Italy. You can take a walk through the narrow maze streets and the alleyways at the Piazza del Campo. You’ll have a lot of fun and you will feel like you have gone back hundreds of years in time.

• Go to Cortona – Cortona was discovered by the Etruscans and has been populated since as far back as the 7th century B.C. The Etruscans were the types of people who absolutely loved living on hills. That is why Cortona is one of the oldest towns sitting on a hill.
• Don’t forget Lucca – Lucca was built on top of a Roman colony. The city dates back to 180 BC. You can visit the Roman Amphitheater and take a look at the many churches and piazzas. You will also see plenty of medieval buildings.
• Chianti – Chianti is known for its world-class wines. When you travel to the Chianti region, you will have the opportunity to taste the best wine on the planet. There are vineyards that you can visit and go on tours. You can taste the different wines and pick out your favorite. You will probably never go back to your old wine.
